2 INGREDIENT CHAFFLES



Instructions:

  1. Preheat your waffle maker according to its instructions. Most waffle makers have a preheat indicator light.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, place the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  3. Microwave the cheese for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until it’s completely melted. You can also melt the cheese in a small saucepan over low heat if you prefer.
  4. Once the cheese is melted, let it cool slightly to avoid cooking the egg when you mix them together.
  5. Crack the egg into the melted cheese and stir well until the egg is fully incorporated. The mixture should resemble a thick, sticky batter.
  6. Lightly grease the waffle maker with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
  7. Pour half of the chaffle batter onto the preheated waffle maker. Close the lid and cook for about 3-5 minutes or until the chaffle is golden brown and crispy.
  8. Carefully remove the chaffle from the waffle maker and let it cool for a minute or two to crisp up even more.
  9. Repeat the process with the remaining batter to make another chaffle.
  10. Serve your 2-ingredient chaffles with your favorite keto-friendly toppings, such as sugar-free syrup, whipped cream, berries, or even savory toppings like avocado and bacon.
