Signature Slow-Cooker Church Supper Spaghetti

This recipe is designed for a standard 6-quart slow cooker and serves about 8 to 10 people.

What You’ll Need

  • Meat: 2 lbs lean ground beef (or a mix of beef and Italian sausage).

  • Aromatics: 1 large onion (finely diced) and 3 cloves of garlic (minced).

  • Sauce Base: 2 jars (24 oz each) of your favorite marinara sauce plus 1 can (15 oz) of tomato sauce.

  • Liquid: 2 cups of beef broth or water (essential for cooking the noodles).

  • Seasoning: 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp sugar (to cut the acidity), and salt/pepper to taste.

  • Pasta: 1 lb (16 oz) spaghetti noodles, broken in half.

  • Finish: Freshly grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for garnish.
