postrecipes February 1, 2023 Ingredients: 2 tbsp butter 1 medium onion, diced 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced 2 stalks celery, diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 4 cups fish or chicken broth 1 cup heavy cream 1 lb seafood mix (e.g. shrimp, scallops, and cod), peeled and diced 1 tsp dried thyme 1 tsp dried basil Salt and pepper to taste Fresh parsley for garnish Instructions: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, potatoes, celery, and garlic and cook until the vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the broth and heavy cream. Add the seafood, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes or until the seafood is cooked through and the potatoes are tender.
