Slow Cooker Sausage, Cabbage, and Potatoes

Cook time: 4–6 hours (Low) or 3 hours (High)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Smoked Sausage: Kielbasa or Andouille work best; sliced into rounds.

  • 1 head Green Cabbage: Chopped into large, 2-inch chunks.

  • 1.5 lbs Potatoes: Yukon Gold or Red potatoes hold their shape best; chopped into 1-inch cubes.

  • 1 cup Chicken Broth: Or water, though broth adds much more flavor.

(Note: Salt and pepper are “free” pantry staples, but be sure to season generously!)
