Instructions

  • Step 1: Layering Place your meat patties (or chicken) in a single layer at the bottom of your slow cooker or a greased baking dish.

  • Step 2: Seasoning Sprinkle the dry gravy/onion mix over the meat, then pour the condensed soup evenly over the top. Do not add water; the meat will release its own juices to create a rich gravy.

  • Step 3: Slow Cook

    • Slow Cooker: Cover and cook on Low for 6–8 hours (or High for 3–4 hours).

    • Oven: Cover with foil and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 45–60 minutes.

  • Step 4: The Melt About 10 minutes before serving, layer the cheese slices over the meat. Cover it back up until the cheese is bubbling and melted, just like in your photo.
