Instructions
-
The Quick Sear (Optional but Recommended): If you have five extra minutes, brown the chops in a hot skillet with a splash of oil for 2 minutes per side. This locks in the juices and improves the texture, but you can skip it if you’re in a rush!
-
Layer the Flavor: Place the pork chops in the bottom of your slow cooker.
-
Whisk the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Pour the mixture directly over the chops, making sure they are well-coated.
-
Slow and Low: Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours. The meat should be fork-tender but not completely shredded.
-
The Finishing Touch: If the sauce is too thin for your liking at the end, remove the lid for the last 30 minutes of cooking to let it reduce and thicken into that signature glaze.
A Pro Tip for Serving
Since that sauce is so rich, these are “best ever” when served over a bed of garlic mashed potatoes or white rice to soak up every drop of that honey-soy goodness.
