Slow Cooker Stuffing Pork Chops

The Strategy

  1. The Base Layer: In a medium bowl, whisk together the condensed soup, sour cream, and water/broth until smooth. This creates the “gravy” that keeps everything from drying out.

  2. The Stuffing: Stir the dry stuffing mix into the soup mixture until it’s mostly moistened.

  3. The Setup: Lightly grease your slow cooker. Spread about half of the stuffing mixture into the bottom.

  4. The Chops: Season your pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Lay them flat over the stuffing layer.

  5. The Topping: Take the remaining stuffing mixture and spoon it over the chops, pressing it down slightly.

  6. The Wait: Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours or High for 2 to 3 hours. You’re looking for the pork to be tender and the stuffing on top to be set.

A Little Pro-Tip

If you want those crispy, golden bits of stuffing that everyone fights over, you can carefully slide the ceramic crock under the oven broiler for 3–5 minutes right before serving. Just keep a close eye on it!
