Vegan Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until you have a smooth batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing any excess batter to drip off. Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Bake the cauliflower florets for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they’re golden and crispy.
  5. While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the buffalo sauce by mixing the hot sauce, melted vegan butter, and maple syrup in a bowl. Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your desired level of spiciness.
  6. Once the cauliflower florets are done baking, transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
  7. Pour the buffalo sauce over the baked cauliflower florets. Gently toss and stir to coat each floret evenly with the sauce.
  8. Place the sauced cauliflower florets back onto the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes. This helps the sauce caramelize slightly and cling to the cauliflower.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow the cauliflower bites to cool for a few minutes.
  10. Serve the Vegan Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites with celery and carrot sticks on the side. Provide vegan ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
  11. Capture enticing photos of your creation to share on social media and tag with relevant vegan and food-related hashtags.
